Cookies and advertising trackers

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel on this site. It sets cookies and reports back to Meta which pages you viewed and whether you joined our list, so we can measure our advertising and show ads to people with similar interests. Meta's handling of that data is governed by their own policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

You can block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info. Blocking them won't stop you using this site.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make this work: our email provider (Kit), our website host, and Meta for advertising measurement. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the pixel described above.

How long we keep it

Your email stays on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can email us at hello@cloudcoat.cc to see what we hold on you, correct it, or have it deleted, and we'll do it within 45 days. Residents of Virginia, California, and other states with privacy laws have these rights by statute, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data and the right to appeal a refused request — but we extend them to everyone, so you don't need to tell us where you live.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top.
